Nachhaltiger Wiederaufbau Ukraines Landwirtschaft auf dem Weg in die EU: Nachhaltigkeit, Sicherheit und Wiederaufbau
Russlands Krieg trifft die Ukraine nicht nur sozial und wirtschaftlich – er hat auch die Landwirtschaft als Rückgrat nationaler Ernährungssicherheit und global relevante Versorgerin schwer erschüttert. Zugleich bietet die EU-Integration eine einmalige Chance, den Sektor zu modernisieren und widerstandsfähiger zu machen.
Mit dieser zweiten Veranstaltung aus der Reihe “Nachhaltiger Wiederaufbau„ am 30. April 2026 (14:00-15:15 Uhr) setzen wir unsere gemeinsame Kooperation mit der Build Ukraine Back Better (BUBB) Platform fort. Ukrainische und deutsche Expert*innen diskutieren Prioritäten für eine nachhaltige Transformation der Landwirtschaft – von Boden- und Wasserschutz über agrarökologische Praktiken bis hin zur Förderung kleinbäuerlicher Betriebe und lokaler Verarbeitung.

Ukraine’s Agriculture on the Road to the EU: Sustainability, Security and Recovery
Russia’s war has not only caused deep social and economic damage to Ukraine – it has also severely disrupted its agricultural sector, a cornerstone of national food security and a key contributor to European and global markets. At the same time, EU integration offers a unique opportunity to modernise the sector and build greater resilience.
With this second event of our series on „Sustainable Reconstruction“ on 30 April 2026 (14:00-15:15), we continue our cooperation with the Build Ukraine Back Better (BUBB Platform). Ukrainian and German experts will discuss priorities for transforming agriculture sustainably – from soil and water conservation to agroecological practices, sustainable livestock farming, and support for small-scale producers and local processing.
