    Auf dem Global Disability Summit am 2. und 3. April 2025 in Berlin kamen über 3.000 Menschen aus rund 100 Ländern zusammen, um sich darüber auszutauschen, wie die Teilhabe von Menschen mit Behinderungen weltweit gefördert werden kann. Auch die Plattform Wiederaufbau Ukraine war vertreten und hat in Kooperation mit UNDP Ukraine das Side Event „Innovate for Inclusion: Breaking Barriers in Ukraine“ veranstaltet.

    Gemeinsam mit Expert*innen aus der Ukraine haben wir dort verdeutlicht, mit welchen Hindernissen Menschen mit Behinderungen in Krisen- und Konfliktkontexten konfrontiert sind und welche Potenziale Innovation und Partnerschaften für eine inklusive Gesellschaft entfalten können – insbesondere im Kontext des Wiederaufbaus.

    In einer Folgeveranstaltung am 29. April 2025 wollen wir die Diskussion weiterführen und gemeinsam mit den Referent*innen und Ihnen konkrete Impulse in die Praxis umsetzen.

    Inclusion and accessibility in Ukraine: challenges and solutions

    At the Global Disability Summit on 2 and 3 April 2025 in Berlin, more than 3,000 people from around 100 countries came together to discuss how the participation of people with disabilities can be promoted worldwide. The Reconstruction Platform Ukraine was also represented and organised the side event „Innovate for Inclusion: Breaking Obstacles in Ukraine“ in cooperation with UNDP Ukraine.
